HSC provide residential design services for most structural components within a residential home. Residential design makes up the majority of design work at HSC. We pride ourselves in providing practical solutions to complicated problems.
HSC can provide Initial Seismic Assessments (ISA) or Detailed Seismic Assessments (DSA) for low-rise structures (< 5 stories). These reports are for the assessment of existing buildings, and their relative structural integrity in the event of an Earthquake.
A PS2 is a design review service intended to cross-check another Engineers' design. This is required for some larger projects and can be provided by HSC
A PS4 is required at the end of a project for Code of Compliance. A CPEng engineer is required to provide a PS4 for any SED (Specific Engineer Design) elements as outlined in the consent conditions. HSC can provide the monitoring for projects designed by HSC and in some cases, on behalf of another design engineer.
